Mylene Costa is a contemporary sculptor whose research investigates the relationship between matter, time, and presence. Her works explore tensions between weight and suspension, silence and strength, creating forms that seem to emerge from the material itself. Rather than representing the body, her sculpture seeks to give body to matter, transforming the sculptural gesture into presence.
